Here's why we love the Oeuf Classic Crib

The minimalist parent's dream, the Oeuf Classic Crib is charming, understated and both modern and traditional at the same time... If you can't tell, we love the Classic Crib.  We have only recently become a stockist of the New York based brand and we love that it was all started by two parents, Sophie and Michael who wanted to create children's products that focused on quality, practicality and function.  Good job team Oeuf!

Now, back to the cot.  The Classic Crib does everything you'd expect a cot to do - it has two adjustable heights for you to change as your baby gets older, it is sturdy and uses a fixed side due to the increased structural strength.  In addition to those features, it looks beautiful in either a boys or a girls room due to the white and neutral coloured bases - we think it looks superb when you use a bold, solid colour bedding set as it provides great contrast.  

What most people don't realise with the Oeuf Classic Cot is that Oeuf really believe in sustainable practices so even the cardboard box that it comes packaged in is made from recycled materials and the paint is non-toxic, water-based and free from any yucky chemicals that could be harmful to your baby.  

We have noticed a trend that people like to buy European-made products and the Oeuf is made in Europe and uses solid birch and Baltic birch plywood to give it that beautiful high-end look and feel.

A little fun fact with the Oeuf Classic is you can actually adjust the leg height so if you want to put a rug underneath or you have an uneven floor, you won't have to worry about a sloping cot!
