Shipping and Returns

Baby Zone sends orders Australia wide, Monday to Friday.  Most items are sent via Australia Post or a local courier.  Larger items can require the use of a freight company.  Customers will be notified of the shipping charges at checkout.  

Baby Zone does not have stock levels on our website and when you place your order it may be in or out of stock.  If in stock, your order will be dispatched and delivered within working days, depending on your location.  If your item is out of stock, we will contact you via email advising you.  Suppliers can also run out of stock and this can cause unexpected delays to the delivery time.  If you are ordering furniture, in rare cases, it can take up to 12 weeks to be delivered.  Customers will be notified if this is the case and we endeavour to notify the customer as soon as possible if an item is out of stock.

Delivery times can vary due to reasons beyond Baby Zone’s control.  If this is the case, Baby Zone would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.

International Delivery 

Please contact Baby Zone prior to purchasing to confirm if international delivery is available.

Products Damaged In Transit

Unfortunately items do get damaged in transit, regardless of how well we have packed it.  On the very rare occasion this does occur, please contact us immediately on receipt of the goods.  We will seek to rectify the situation as quickly as we can.  This may involve that we ask for a photo of the damaged product or we may request that the item be returned to us at our expense.  Depending on the item, we will advise you as to how we will rectify the situation and ensure you have the product as you require.
If the item has been delivered via courier, please check the external packaging on receipt of the goods to ensure the goods are in good condition.  If you are in any doubt that the goods have been damaged, please do not sign the consignment note and do not accept the goods.

Incorrect Goods Supplied

Accidents happen from time to time and if we have accidentally sent you the incorrect product, we will send you the product you require once the incorrect product is returned to us.  In the event of the incorrect product being shipped, you must contact us within 48 hours on receipt of your goods.  Baby Zone will reimburse any freight costs incurred by you.

Change of Mind Returns 

In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), if you would like to return an item because you have simply changed your mind, Baby Zone will happily offer you a store credit or exchange for items returned within 14 days of purchase.  This is provided that the item:

  • Is returned with a proof of purchase (receipt)
  • Is unused, in its original condition and packaging as well as containing the instruction manuals and any accessories.

This does not apply to any sale or discontinued items as well as any safety products such as car seats and their accessories.  Some hygiene products are unable to be returned unless they are faulty.

Baby Zone is not obliged to offer a full refund for any change of mind purchases as given by your rights in the ACL.  You are responsible for any freight charges to and from Baby Zone.

Faulty Products

If you believe you have received a product that is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible (but no later than 2 weeks) with your purchase details.  Baby Zone will provide you with a Return Authorisation number to have the problem resolved in a reasonable amount of time.  Please note that normal warranty periods apply and Baby Zone will act in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. 

Warranty

All product warranties are manufacturer’s warranties.  Manufactures are entitled to attempt to repair a product before offering a refund or exchange.  Product assessments are required to determine the appropriate means of action for each individual sale.  Warranty periods do vary for each product and this period commences from date of sale not the date of first use. 

Any costs incurred by the customer to return the product for repair to Baby Zone will be the sole responsibility of the customer.

It is your responsibility to return the product to Baby Zone and any cost incurred in the carriage of goods will not be reimbursed by Baby Zone.

Please note that all purchases on the Baby Zone website are covered by the Australian Consumer Law.

Other Returns

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Upon placing an order you will receive an immediate order confirmation. We may phone or email you if we have any questions, or information for you related to your purchase/order. Goods/order will be dispatched usually on the same day or next morning after the order is received. Weekend orders are dealt with on Monday mornings.

Perth metro area - allow up to 3 working days. Central West, South West and Goldfield areas allow up to 5 working days. North West areas allow up to 7 to 10 days. Normal delivery charges apply: Approximately 10% of the total value of the order.
