• Under-the-mattress wireless sensor pad tracks subtle movements (like breathing) that audio and video monitors can't detect. The sensor pad monitors all your baby's movements. If there is no movement for 15 seconds a beep sounds. This is designed to wake the baby, as believe it or not they can forget to breath. Hopefully they will begin breathing within the next 5 seconds and provided they do you will not hear any alarm. But if the unimaginable happens and they don't begin breathing within those 5 seconds following the beep an alarm will sound. 
• Day and night vision. The infrared camera works in the dark so you can keep a watchful eye 24/7.
• Nursery room temperature display. No need to buy a Gro-egg as the room temperature display function is included in this monitor. The camera turns red for too warm and blue for too cool.
